The Bold Voices audio and visual launch at Moosey Gallery was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community. Bringing together project participants, collaborators, supporters, and members of the public, the event marked the culmination of months of collective creative development and provided an opportunity to share the finished work in an immersive and engaging setting.
The evening culminated in the premiere of the Bold Voices track and accompanying music video, allowing audiences to experience the completed work after exploring the creative process that brought it to life. Seeing the final film within the context of the exhibition gave audiences a deeper appreciation of the collaboration, experimentation, and craftsmanship involved in its production.
Guests were welcomed into an immersive exhibition that offered a behind-the-scenes insight into the creative process, tracing the project's journey from its earliest stages to the completed music video. The exhibition showcased the development of the original music through songwriting and production, alongside the creation of each band member's identity through prop-making, mask-making, and costume design. Photography, branding, and visual world-building further explored how these identities evolved into fully realised characters, culminating in the final music video. Together, these disciplines demonstrated how a cohesive visual and strong narrative was developed across every aspect of the project, ensuring that the music, imagery, and storytelling worked in harmony to create a unified artistic vision.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was one of collective joy and celebration. Music was provided by Transient Radio, creating an energetic atmosphere that complemented the exhibition, while refreshments generously supplied by Ampersand Brewery and Beavertown Brewery helped create a welcoming and social environment where conversations could flourish.

The launch successfully brought together artists and audiences from a range of creative backgrounds, encouraging meaningful connections. More than a showcase of finished work, the event celebrated the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and demonstrated the creative potential that emerges when young people are given the space, resources, and support to develop ambitious ideas together.
Most importantly, the exhibition highlighted and celebrated young queer creativity in all its forms. It provided a platform for participants to share authentic stories, express their identities with confidence, and be recognised for their artistic achievements. The overwhelmingly positive response from attendees reflected the impact of the project, with the launch serving not only as a celebration of the work itself but also as a testament to the power of community-led creative projects like Bold Voices.
